RESTRICTION
SecureKI hardware and software appliances are delivered as hardened security platforms and do not support the installation of third-party software or agents.
To avoid potential performance degradation, security exposure, and functional conflicts, third-party tools must not be installed on the SecureKI appliance host.
Any issues arising from prohibited installations are not supported by SecureKI and may place the system in an unsupported configuration.
Please Note:
- Anti-Virus Software: Installing anti-virus software on the SecureKi Appliance is not supported. The server is designed with built-in security features, and additional anti-virus software may interfere with its operations.
- Kernel Updates: Updating the kernel on the SecureKi Appliance is not permitted. Kernel modifications can lead to compatibility issues and disrupt system stability.
- Package Updates: Updates to system packages are not allowed. Keeping packages unchanged helps maintain a stable and predictable environment.
- System Configuration or Library Modifications: Changes to system configurations or libraries are prohibited. Modifying these elements could compromise system integrity and functionality.
Support Implications
Any issues, outages, or functional problems resulting from prohibited installations or system modifications will not be supported by SecureKI.
Systems found to be in an unsupported configuration may be required to be restored to a vendor-approved baseline before support can be provided.
Any issues that might arise from the prohibited installation are not supported by SecureKi.
